Belt filter press

The belt filter press is an environmental protection equipment that dewaters the sludge through physical squeezing between the machine belts. The sludge is first mixed and reacted with the flocculant and flocculated into agglomerates, and then passes through the pre-dehydration zone → concentrated dehydration zone → low-pressure drainage Zone → S-shaped extrusion zone → high pressure zone, so that the sludge moisture is gradually discharged through the mesh belt through the squeezing force between the mesh belts, and finally forms a mud cake to be discharged.

Dehydration principle

After the concentrated sludge is fully mixed with a certain concentration of flocculant in static and dynamic mixers, the tiny solid particles in the sludge aggregate into larger flocculent agglomerates, and the free water is separated at the same time. The sludge is transported to the filter belt for concentrated gravity dehydration, and the free water is separated under the action of gravity to form immobile sludge, and then clamped between the upper and lower mesh belts, passing through the wedge-shaped pre-compression zone, low pressure Under the action of small to large squeezing force and shearing force in the zone and high pressure zone, the sludge is gradually squeezed to achieve the maximum degree of separation of sludge and water, and finally a filter cake is formed and discharged.

Dehydration process
